week 10 blog
This week or i should sya last was week was quite stressful. My internation Studies was a big shock to the system for somthing due back first week after the holidays. The good thing is that i got it done, the bad thing is i don’t think it was a BRILLIANT CHANGE THE WORLD essay, however, i did learn a few things about Cultural Imperialism, although most of those things i learnt playing CIV4 and trying to win the cultural victory but, i can’t put that stuff in an essay..
Networked media was a blast, we got into the web 2.0, which is just about the funnest, funniest, controversialest, hostilest, friendliest place in the world and by doing so learnt about flame wars. Ever since I have been “debating” my ideas to other people on various sites and discussing whatever there is to discuss. On my search to do so i have discovered places like Digg.com and reddit.com, where basicly all the information on the net ends up, allowing me to announce my thoughts on whatever the topic is, without any hesitation as to what other people think about my words.
Furthermore I have discovered several web comics which i find really amusing and have added them to my delicious, yet another useful site, link and to my bloglines. These comics range from Dilbert to Cyanide and happiness. To add onto that i got addicted to the old 2004 title Vampire: Masquerade Bloodlines, which is a incredibly impressive RPG, very similer to oblivion in gameply, along with the hilarious bugs and irritating CTDs, which have almost pushed me to the limit if it weren’t for the immersive storyline.
