Week 6 Blog
Second last week before the term ends. Yes I am stressed. However, I have done my International studies speech and am left with two, by far, more interesting assignments. First being a Tryptych, which is rather difficult to find inspiration for and a Reference/Exhibit site on Kubrick. I have just written about the movie Full Metal Jacket and it took me all day, which says to me that I won’t be able to get all of Kubrick’s movies in by the deadline, however, the deadline won’t stop me as I shall keep on Posting until every movie is on that blog.
The speech that I have done for International Studies is what I would call a near disaster. I was off topic and had scrappy notes, which is understandable seeing as I hate speeches and do not really have an opinion on the conflict, misunderstanding and religion in India. AT least it is over now, I guess I can only wait and see if my… sparkling… charisma… gets me through with a pass.
Now all my attention is focused on Learning Japanese, which is going quite well seeing as i can read and write in two languages and speak a little bit more dialect, and this Kubrick reference site. I am eager/dreading the daunting task of deciphering 2001 and Dr. Strangelove…
